Palliative care is specialized medical care for people living with serious illnesses, such as cancer, COPD, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, heart failure, and many others. Palliative care can be helpful at any stage of illness and is best provided soon after a person is diagnosed. Patients in palliative care may receive medical care for their symptoms, or palliative care, along with the treatment intended to cure their serious illness. Palliative care is meant to enhance a person’s current care by focusing on the quality of life for them and their family.

We provide the following services:

  • Skilled nursing care
  • Complete therapy services: physical, occupational, and speech therapy
  • Dietary/Nutritional needs
  • Supportive care provided by social worker and/or chaplain

Palliative care can be provided in hospitals, nursing homes, outpatient palliative care clinics, or at home.
